FAQs

What color formats does the mixer support?

Currently, we support 6-digit HEX color codes (#RRGGBB format). The tool outputs both HEX codes and RGB values for maximum compatibility.

Common issues include:

  • Missing the # symbol

  • Using 3-digit HEX codes (convert to 6-digit)

  • Invalid characters (only 0-9 and A-F allowed)

  • Extra spaces in the input

The tool uses linear interpolation between your start and end colors. Each RGB channel (Red, Green, Blue) is calculated separately to create smooth transitions.

You can generate up to 10 intermediate steps between your colors. This limitation ensures optimal performance and clear, distinct color stages.

Our HEX and RGB outputs work with:

  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD

  • Figma, Sketch, Canva

  • CSS in web development

  • PowerPoint, Keynote presentations

  • Most graphic design software
